Data Manager
Data Manager is our universal data-entry tool. With Data Manager, data collection can be whatever the users want/need because they build the data-entry forms to suit their needs.
The power and flexibility of Data Manager come from Data Manager Designer. In other words, Data Manager Designer is the configuration tool used to create the data entry forms. Data Manager shows those forms to the specified users so that they can collect and maintain the data.
In its simplest form, Data Manager is an empty shell. Data Manager Designer makes Data Manager come alive with all kinds of data-entry forms.
Many of our clients have dozens or even hundreds of users who use Data Manager to manage many unique database configurations.

Data Manager Key Features
Data-entry Forms:
All forms created in Data Manager Designer are fully supported in Data Manager.
User Access:
The number of data-entry forms that can be created is unlimited. Forms are organized in configurations and groups. Users are given convenient access to any number of these forms. Users can also be restricted to viewing certain forms or even parts of a form in read-only mode.
Database Driven:
All the configurations are stored in a central database, so any user in the entire organization can access any number of configurations (and specific forms).
Mapping:
Google Maps, Open Street Maps, and GIS maps can be displayed on the forms and interact with the data. For example, a GIS map can be used to navigate to a record in the database by simply clicking or double-clicking on the feature on the map. Supported GIS formats are ESRI™ and GeoMeadia™.
Documents and other files:
Data Manager can store documents, photos, and any other binary file in a database or store the links to those files on a network drive. The files can be opened with the push of a button, just as if the user were to double-click on them in Windows Explorer.
Photos:
Store unlimited photos in the database, automatically extract the Exif (Exchangeable image file format) information from them and store all or parts of them separately. For example, suppose the photos store the GPS information (from a GPS-enabled camera). In that case, Data Manager can instantly extract that information and display those GPS coordinates on a Google map and GIS map.
Email:
Automatic email notifications are fully supported and can be customized based on whatever criteria are set in Data Manager Designer. When needed, attachments can also be included in the emails.
Calculations:
Data Manager fully supports any number of calculations. The results can be displayed on the form and stored in the database.
Integrates With Data Viewer:
Data Manager integrates with Data Viewer, enabling the user to access its powerful analysis, querying, and reporting features.
Microsoft SQL Server™ Databases:
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and newer are supported database engines. When Microsoft releases a new version of SQL Server, we quickly add support for it.
